Hey Sparkle Writers! We’re so excited as we write this post. For some months now, we’ve been working on putting together our first event! It’s been a long journey and we’re so happy to announce that we’re finally ready to bring you The Sparkle Writers Hangout With Ignite Africa
Now this is not your usual writing event. We really mean it when we say we want to hangout with you. We also want you to hangout with us and the awesome guest writers who will be sharing some fantastic words of wisdom with you during the event. You’ll get to network with other writers, make new friends, have access to some unique opportunities to showcase your work as a writer, eat loads of food and most importantly, you will have fun!
We’re having this event in partnership with Ignite Africa Library and we will also be celebrating the 1st anniversary of The Sparkle Writers Hub on the day as well. Yay! Can you believe The Sparkle Writers Hub will be one in a few weeks? There’s a little information we need to let you know; even though the event is free, we will only be hanging out with 20 writers. So if you’re interested in being a part of the Writers Hangout, you need to register as soon as possible.
Registration closes on Thursday 30th June but we can bet that all the 20 slots will be filled up by then. So don’t procrastinate.
The hangout will hold on Saturday 16th July in Lagos. Save the date and watch out for more information about the time, venue and the fantastic writers you’ll be hanging out with.
