#WordOfTheDay – This is what ‘Chicanery’ means

Today’s word has a very interesting meaning and the word is ‘Chicanery’.

Pronounced \-ˈkān-rē, -ˈkā-nə-\, Chicanery means clever, dishonest talk or behaviour that is used to deceive people.

Here’s how to use it in a sentence;

  1. He wasn’t above using chicanery to win votes.

  2. That candidate only won the election through chicanery

  1. Interesting. ..new word for. Now i cant quite use it in a sentence without be boring.. but your two example fits in with the way i might have tried because politicians and lawyers are all a bit chicanery in their non visible agendas…. 😣😏🙄
