Want to know how to promote your blog with Instagram? You should read this!

Hello Sparkle Writers, how are you doing  today?

On today’s blogging series we are talking about how to use Instagram to promote your blog. If you’ve never used Instagram before, well this is your chance to learn as much as you can in the simplest way.

For Instagram the pros, you may still want to stay here a bit, there’s something for you too.

The first thing you need to do to promote your blog on Instagram is to open an account for the blog, that’s pretty easy right?

Now don’t just open a page.  Fill the details requested. Your blog name, URL, short info about the blog, etc. Make sure the short detail is actually short and most importantly interesting. It should be something that makes readers want to click the link in your bio as fast as they can.

Use a display picture
Does this need further explanation? Not so much. There is no point having that option blank.  If you are wondering what  picture you can use, your blog logo, or personal picture, depending on what kind of blog it is, will be appropriate. Whatever picture you use make sure it is a beautiful one.

Use relevant hashtags
This is super important.  Hashtags are a great way to join the conversation.  Readers can find your posts depending on the hashtag you use.  You can also gain more followers on the blog and on Instagram depending on how well you use your hashtags.

The Sparkle Writer’s Hub uses hashtags like #instawrite and #writers because they are relevant to our blog. So look for what hashtags are relevant to your blog and use them. You can also create your own hashtags if you want to.

It is important to note that too many hashtags can be annoying, so mind the way you use them.

Let us know when you open those awesome accounts on Instagram!
