I love Christmas because it’s all about the Saviour of the world. That day marks the day Jesus Christ was born. It is the day the whole world celebrates Christ. I love Christmas because that day represents love; God’s love towards human beings.

I love Christmas because it stands out from every other day of the year; the songs, the carols, the gifts, the chicken and father Christmas. As a kid, I loved father Christmas.

Christmas makes me so happy. There is this special feeling attached to that day.

There is always food to eat in your house, your friends and the ones your neighbours bring; food of different kinds.

As a kid, I enjoyed going from one house to the other to consume the food and chicken lap. Now that I’m grown, I spend quality time with the few friends I have. Though I still find time to go to people’s houses.

The main reason I love Christmas is because starting from the 25th of December to the next few days in the new year,  I find joy. Something I don’t feel in my house; my parent’s house. I spend Christmas with my family friends. They are wonderful people; they treat children with respect, they encourage you and give you one or two words of advice. This makes me wish they were my parents.

I don’t think it’s because I and my parent practice different religions because it started before I became this old. I love them still.

I love Christmas because it makes me feel like a two year old child with zero worries.
I love Christmas because Christmas is life.
I love Christmas because Christmas is peace.
I love Christmas because Christmas brings happiness.
I love Christmas because Christmas is love.
