#BookRaiser – Join the movement to raise books for the less privileged

We love to see projects that aim to make in impact in the society using books. The Book Raiser, put together by The Book Bank NG, is a campaign that every one should get involved with.

Do you have old books you are not using?

Are you willing to commit a percentage of your money to ensure that the less privileged have access to books?

Don’t have any of the above but you would love to give your time to raise books for the less privileged as a volunteer?

Then you should join the movement. The Book Raiser event is taking place in Lagos on the 6th of August 2016 at Kings College, 3 Catholic Mission Street.

Come with your books. Come determined to make an impact.

About The Book Bank NG

The Book Bank NG started out as a group of teenagers with a very simple idea: amassing the textbooks of high school graduates and donating them to the less privileged. Over time, a WhatsApp group was formed and sheer passion embellished the idea and birthed The Book Bank Nigeria: a worldwide movement to promote quality education by constantly collecting as many books as possible and donating them to the libraries of schools where they are most needed. The target is to reach disadvantaged secondary schools in rural areas with sizeable populations on a regular basis starting with Lagos and Abuja, possibly expanding to more states in Nigeria.
