Hello Sparkle Writer, how was your weekend?
Today we want to discuss why like every other person you need a break. We know you are used to hearing things like ‘write everyday’, ‘don’t miss your writing routine’ and so on. But today we are going to learn something a little bit different which is why you need to take a break.
If you have been pursing your writing goals since the beginning of the year you probably would need this post even more
These are a few reasons why you need a break;
- Your body needs it. Don’t try to feel like you are James Bond because you are not. Everyone needs rest. If you keep pushing your body beyond its limits you will break down. Once this happens you won’t be able to do all those things you love to do and may probably be tied down longer than you want. A few days of rest wouldn’t hurt.
- Your creativity will be renewed. This is a no brainer. Taking a few days of rest from writing can help you refuel and get your creative juices flowing. You will be able to see what you probably hadn’t seen in your environment all the while. There will be more time to reflect, think and have more things to write about.
- To re-strategize. At the beginning of the year you had so many plans. Lots of things that you wanted to do. Taking a break from writing can help you re-strategize and review your writing goals and come back better.
- Time to read. Most people claim that they do not have time to write. Your few days break will be a great opportunity to catch up on your reading.
Please note that your break shouldn’t last too long. We don’t want you getting used to not writing .
