#StopTheCliche- Not everything is ‘nice’ you know

We hope you are excited to read today’s edition of the #StopTheCliche series.

How many times do you use the word ‘nice’ in a day? We bet it’s more than you should. Most times people use this word because they don’t know of a more appropriate word.
It’s easy for you to say: ‘The dress is nice.’ Instead of saying: ‘The dress is sewn to perfection.’

This is why we would give you other words that you can use in place of nice such as: amusing, delightful, enjoyable, entertaining, gratifying, pleasant, pleasurable, agreeable, satisfying, acceptable, to one’s liking, entertaining, diverting, marvellous, likeable, personable, charming, delightful, amiable, affable, friendly, kindly, genial, congenial, good-natured, engaging, gracious, compassionate.

Please use them appropriately.
